More Than Just a Meal: Sharing Hope in Haiti
In Juana Mendez, Haiti, Leonel is demonstrating that true ministry goes beyond meeting immediate needs. While providing essential food and fuel to a home for the elderly and 17 vulnerable children who also depend on sustenance there, he’s also sharing the life-changing power of the Gospel whenever he has the opportunity.
But Leonel’s passion for sharing the Gospel extends beyond Juana Mendez. He’s actively involved in leading a Bible study and engaging in street evangelism in Capotille, reaching out to those who are searching for hope.
“We can offer a meal, but only God can truly satisfy the soul,” shares Leonel.
“My prayer is that these precious individuals will come to Christ and find hope that goes beyond their circumstances.”
Leonel’s ministry is a testament to the transformative power of the Gospel, even in the midst of the present hardship in his country. He’s bringing not just temporary relief, but eternal hope, even to the most vulnerable.
